So fine that one wonders if there is an engine.
Recognised under Linux without problems.
Apart from the slot which seems a bit light for putting cds (seems fragile in the long run), all works very well, fast, almost silent (vibrates a bit despite the silents blocks) and above all does not take up any space.
This product is used on laptops, but also mounted on PCs in the 90s instead of the current CD or DVD. At that time I didn't like the CD ejector.
But today, for a more objective use, it is very useful. Let me explain, this drive can not only read standard size CDs but also mini CDs. It is the companion of all the movements. It also allows you to have 2 CD players on the same machine
I've tried it and I've adopted it, it's more responsive than my old internal samsung, it's compact and doesn't take up much space, the only downside is the length of the cable which I think could have been a bit longer, but that's not too bad lol
