Be careful disclamer... this processor is still expensive and overpowering for most uses. However, for 3D and rendering it's perfect. I've never managed to overload it, so I'm satisfied.

I just got out of an asus rog b550-f couplet with a ryzen 5 5600x which was performing well and consuming and heating reasonably. I had the opportunity to get a msi z490 mpg gaming plus motherboard in the bargain corner so I took the opportunity to sell my complete one and get an I7 10700kf at the same time. A gain in all categories but consumes almost 2x as much and heats up a lot. I find by looking at it well it is not worth it for its price and the announced performances... I'm with an aio 360mm fractal (I'm in Reunion Island and it's hot right now 28 degrees in the evening) but still... if I knew that I would have stayed on my ryzen 5 5600x or else switched to the ryzen 7 5800x.... too bad for intel and its 10th generation which is not at the point of performance ratio consumption and heat...
