This active optical cable (COA ) from Nedis is the ideal solution for transferring large volumes of high quality data over long distances with almost no loss. Thanks to the all-metal housing of the connector, the cable is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). RPC certified, it is the ideal cable for use within buildings and offices as a fixed device between a source and a display.
Because the connectors convert electrical signals into optical (light) signals, the signal can be transferred over longer lengths than with conventional copper cables, and with a very thin and flexible cable. Furthermore, the addition of an external power supply is not necessary, which is common for copper wire cables over long lengths.
