Beautiful image
Very nice picture, good responsiveness, one minor annoyance is that the screen sound cuts out when changing programmes (e.g. switching from Windows to Anno), nothing too serious, just 2 seconds without sound and a black screen.
The ASUS VG289Q is the perfect monitor to enhance your comfort and performance. With its 28-inch IPS panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), it is capable of delivering high quality images, ideal for your favourite games and movies! It also has a secret weapon, ELMB-Sync, which enables both FreeSync and ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur) technology. This means you no longer have to choose between perfect smoothness without tearing or reduced ghosting during fast-moving action.
With its 28-inch Ultra HD screen, the VG289Q offers a sharp display with a high resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The IPS technology provides a rich visual experience with realistic colours and excellent viewing angles (178/178 degrees).
In addition, HDR compatibility provides optimised contrast and a wider colour gamut compared to conventional SDR monitors. Several HDR modes (Cinema, Gaming...) are available, so you can adapt the technology to your current use.
The VG289Q is one of the first gaming monitors to offer the combination of two technologies that are normally impossible to activate simultaneously: AdaptiveSync/FreeSync and Ultra Low Motion Blur (ULMB).
Today, ASUS has managed to combine these two technologies and has equipped this monitor with them in the form of ELMB-Sync. Thanks to this major innovation, it is now possible to enjoy the best of both worlds (i.e. the benefits of FreeSync for better smoothness without tearing coupled with the reduction of ghosting and blurred areas during fast movements of ULMB) without being forced to do without either one!

Very nice picture, good responsiveness, one minor annoyance is that the screen sound cuts out when changing programmes (e.g. switching from Windows to Anno), nothing too serious, just 2 seconds without sound and a black screen.
No particular problems on this model (I didn't test it in extreme situations).
As always, the ergonomics and clarity of the controls (joystick and a few buttons on the back bottom right of the monitor) could certainly be improved but are rather less bad than on other monitors I have come across.
Deliveries are getting faster and faster (order on Sunday at 11.40am, delivery on Tuesday at 9.30am)
The screen is great, fluid, the rendering is excellent, the sound seems like there is no difference between the 1 and the 100 but otherwise great
Apart from the quality of the screen itself, what surprised me the most was the quality of the image, the sharpness of the colours, the precision of the contours of the lines and characters.
The good surprise is that the external power supply is very small, so no problem to find a place for it.
The screen is delivered with a Display cable but without a manual, which is easily found in French on the Asus website.
The only little "problem" I had was to find... the power button of the screen. :-D
I'm very happy with my purchase, especially at the promotional price.
I'm very happy with my purchase, especially at the special price.
I had bought a 27 inch 2560×1440 in 144 Hz for 400 euros.
I saw this one at the same price, 28 inches, 3840×2160 in 60 Hz.
Not being an ultragamer, I thought 60 Hz would be enough.
It is.
The pixels are almost invisible, it's very very close to retina (I replaced my 27 inch retina imac for a mac mini M1 with this screen).
The picture is beautiful, and the screen is very ergonomic, height adjustment, left/right tilt and up/down.
I love this screen.
Very good screen with incredible colours.
I was disappointed by the delivery because the screen was in its original box in the Chronopost truck.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a box or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea to have a box or not.
But good delivery within 1 day with priority delivery
I've had it for 3 weeks now, using it on a PS5 I'm really happy with it.
The image quality is really sublime in 4k, the image is also very fluid, the colours are really pleasant...
The LDLC service is always very reactive, so I'm not disappointed at all with my purchase.
Very good screen quality. I only use it for my xbox series x. The screen doesn't handle 120hz but the new generation consoles handle it very badly too and their advert is not valid. I play MW and Cold war and frankly it's 10x better than on a tv (last generation).
4 days of adjustments to try to obtain an acceptable image, without result, the basic adjustment is infectious and burns the eyes. The sharpness of the image is good, but the contrast is extreme, impossible to find a happy medium except by activating the economy mode (eco) which divides the luminosity by 2 approximately, but this mode poses other problems, in particular in the nuance of colours.
I'm not sure if this is a good screen or not, but I'm sure it's a good screen. I'm not sure if this is a good screen or not, but I'm sure it's a good screen and I'm sure it's a good screen. And LDLC to participate in it. I'm not sure if it's a good one or not, but I'm sure it's a good one.
first time ordering here and i can say perfect beautiful just i found it mega yellow when i run used to a strong blue light so i set myself i think best to do the screen and just sublime i took it for the ps5 we will see what it gives
