As I already own Samsung external drives (T7), I was looking for a high-capacity drive to store videos, and with these 5TB there's plenty of space. The problem is that the transmission rate is slow (i.e. it took just over a minute to load 1GB onto the drive), so performance in this respect is not very good.
However, it does say USB 3.1....
This drive doesn't seem to perform as well as the Samsung equivalent.
This product meets my expectations. It's a pity that the Colissimo delivery was really late!
The delivery was very fast and the equipment was as described. No worries when putting it into operation.
The hard drive was not accessible from the start on my system (Ubuntu, latest LTS) which did not support this format.
The installation of the right package solved the problem.
