Hello,
The 2TB Toshiba Canvio Ready external drive has been working great since I received it. It has been powered up for 10 days and everything has been fine since then. I hope that it will last over time because I already had a 2 TERA Canvio Basic which didn't last. Its Smart state quickly deteriorated and after a fairly short running time for a hard disk, Acronis Drive Monitor told me that it was 20% down and Windows was having trouble initialising it. So I had to get rid of it to avoid losing all the data.
But the Canvio Ready works very well and meets my requirements very well, and its 2TB capacity is not insignificant.
As always, LDLC is quick with its deliveries and I would recommend this hard drive to others (for the time being!) and so far it's given me good service and it's not expensive compared to others. I put photos and backups of the C: drive and my documents on it.
