    Replacement for an XP 750 expression that had given up the ghost after more than ten years of use, which I think is very fair and which led me to choose the same brand.
    Mixed use: telecommuting and small family printing.
    The two reasons that made me choose this model:
    - The compact and discreet design,
    - The document feeder is double-sided and works well, which is very practical for my home office.
    I don't really need the photo mode, especially as the Epson cartridges are overpriced.
    I'm giving it one star less for the cheap and not very reassuring plastics and above all the time it takes to print the first page, which is always very long, whereas subsequent prints are surprisingly quick.
    The paper feeders haven't improved, but I'm used to that and it's not the most practical thing, but it's fine.

    Too many unnecessary motorised mechanisms for starting and switching off the printer.
