This economical ET-8550 printer lets you print up to 2,300 high-quality photos with a single set of ink bottles. The bottles and tanks are designed to be easy to use, so you don't have to worry about refilling other ink tank systems.
This model prints on a wide range of media up to 13 inches (A3+), including photo paper, fine art paper and heavy matte card stock (up to 1.5mm thick).
Epson Claria ET Premium inks produce high-quality, long-lasting photos up to A4 size, as well as outstanding black and white photos with the new grey ink. The black pigment ink is ideal for printing sharp text on plain paper.
With Zero Heat Micro Piezo technology, you can enjoy consistently high speed printing with significantly reduced power consumption, saving you time and money.
Easier to use, the Ecotank ET-8550 is also more compact. Its front-mounted tanks are designed for easy refilling and the bottles are equipped with color-coded markers so that you can't go back to the wrong colour when filling the tank. Thefront ink level display makes it easy to know when a refill is needed.
TheET-8550 has photo and A4 front paper trays and can print directly onto suitable CD/DVDs. The rear A3+ tray accepts special media such as paper and drawing cards, while the A3+ direct paper feed allows you to print on media up to 1.3mm thick and 2m long!
With this Ecotank printer, print directly from your mobile device, tablets and laptop. With Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, send your documents to print from mobile devices via Epson iPrint. Another quick and trouble-free LDLC order. The printer is very easy to install, both in terms of hardware and software on PC and smartphone. It's also easy to configure, thanks to the size of the screen and the quality of the display. During configuration, you can define the paper size and type for the different paper loading zones. The print quality, in colour or black and white, with or without margins, is very good indeed.

This tank printer is quite universal. It is economical to use and can print on all paper sizes and thicknesses up to A3+.
The investment is high but the quality of the photos is very honest; which is rare.
It's very easy to set up either via the supplied disc or via a smartphone with the app (err...don't try with the documentation it's not great).
On the plan of the encumbrance as it is a printer to A3 and A3+ it is earlier voluminous but that remains correct to envisage a place of 52 cm by 40 cm a little more behind to load paper easily.
The output tray is automatic, it pulls itself out of the printer. It's easy to use, just press the button on the touchscreen to put it back in.
It's a good printer, but if you want to print on photo paper, you'll have to use a quality paper. It makes double-sided too.
