Still does the job, even on the latest Intel Raptor Lakes (14th gen)

A fan with a rather slim vertical profile, which allowed me to pass the RAM bars through.
I only fitted 1 fan (included), but it's possible to fit 2, and it's very quiet. Its weak point is that it doesn't have PWM, which is a shame but not essential if you set the voltage manually.
I've used it since Haswell (5th gen) then on 3 different CPUs since 2012, until now on Raptor Lake (14th gen).
Compatible with AM4 and AM5 too, Cooler Master offers AM5 mounting screws on their site, you have to dig but you'll find them :D, one of the best value for money.
In fact, it's now cheaper than when I bought it 4 years ago.

    Very good

The package arrived safely, nothing was missing inside, works perfectly and is very efficient for a small cooling budget. I would recommend it to you. I just had a little trouble installing it.

    Top, but ...

    The pluses:
    - Efficient (23°C at rest on an AMD 2700X and 55/60°C on a stress software with the 8 core / 16 thread at 100%) (but with 2 fans)
    - Fan provided silent

    The -:
    - Mounting a bit long (having mounted a lot of fans, I found this one a bit longer, but you only do it once, it doesn't matter)
    - Only one fan provided and it's a shame

    A sus z390 -plus ok

I ordered them to install on an i5 9400f and it's surprising when you see the original fan you immediately wonder if it will fit. So in an antec P7 case yes it's fair but it's good.
I'm not sure if it's the same as the original fan, but it's a lot less turbulent and it's not like the yo-yo effect when you're playing games, and it's not like it's going to spray heat on the memory sticks and my Ssd. For the heat it and much less aggressive with the exit of the case that that of origin with divisions 2 then Rainbox six and ghost recon last version I do not exceed 43° with a part with 18° during on 1 hour. the installation has price me 5 minute and for the dust it is enough to deposit the ventilator without any tool just of them clips and a blow of spray with air

    Very good for the price

According to the many tests I have read, this is the best value for money currently (2019). Indeed, it cools very well, and it is almost imperceptible. Obviously, for overclocking, you'd choose something higher end. The assembly takes a long time (30 minutes all included), but is very simple with excellent instructions.

Note that the same fan in LED mode has a simpler mounting system, but not the same fan (more powerful and noisy).

    Quiet cooling

Updated version of the Hyper 212. For a replacement of a ventirad on an old configuration, it may be necessary to remove the motherboard because the mounting is done with a backplate. Beautiful black nickel plated finish, nice brushed aluminium cover on top, presence of plugs on the heatpipes. Silently cools a Ryzen 5 2600. Very good value for money.

    Very nice, cools well but

all parts are black, it's good, the cooler cools well for a 4 pipe, but note that the fan has a sleeve bearing. For 35€ in the current market we would not have had fluid dynamic bearing or even ball bearing.
So to know that at the beginning the fan will make 0 noise but after 6 months 1 year it will start to make some, compared to a hydrodynamic or magnetic, but these last ones cost 70-100€ just for air cooling.

If you want ball bearing or better, it's around 70€.

For comparison, I have a noctua NH-U12S cooling since 2013 with a magnetic fan (SSO bearing) and it still makes no noise in 2019. The 212 evo fan next door will either be dead or quite noisy.
