A pleasant surprise
For a reasonable price, the quality and the bundle are great: rubber shock absorbers and additional fixings for installing a second fan, black-sheathed Y cable and the brand's thermal paste. Replacing an Enermax of the same type for purely aesthetic reasons, because it's black, it turns out to be smaller, which is appreciable in more ways than one for a truly identical efficiency with the original fan. This one surprised me by its silence, even at full power. To really measure the difference, I'd have had to put on my previous one, a Be Quiet, using my previous paste, Zalman, but I wanted to see it as it was and as it wasn't a question of cooling per se, I left it as it was for the moment. Easy installation, next time I open the beast I'll test with 2 fans, I've got plenty to spare ha ha ha... The rear plate and mounting system seem a bit flimsy though, there's a lot of plastic here, all-metal would have been more satisfactory but it's fine in theory. Watch out for the tightening though.
