Ethernet connection problem

The hub works very well for all functions except for the Ethernet port. The connection is good but it cuts off after a few tens of minutes. I had to disconnect and reconnect. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it for a lot of different purposes.
