With Brightness Intelligence Plus technology, eye strain is reduced in all light environments. Used as a connected TV, it's a very good quality screen. The only downside, which isn't really a downside, is that it requires a sound bar, as it has no native audio output.
Used with a Mac Mini, consoles (Xbox X Series and PS4) the graphics rendering is good. It is 4K, HDR, VFR compatible and can (according to my Xbox) run at 120Hz. Designed for gaming, this screen also offers a cinema mode that is automatically activated when watching Disney+.
The only big flaw of this screen is the sound which is really weak to be polite. It's not easy to enjoy a film or listen to YouTube. The sound is a bit too flat and tasteless.
Nice product, works perfectly. The HDR doesn't do much and the on/off button is oddly located in relation to the HDR button, but that's not important.
Great images, beautiful colours after custom settings, may not be suitable for the most demanding or for professional video/photo editing use... But the quality is still excellent. Hard to find better 249?
This screen is a good value for money, if you have a small budget it is very good, (bought at 250 €).
If you are looking for a screen with quality HDR, you need to go to another screen because this one is clearly not made for that.
The first time I test 4K and it's impossible for me to go back to 1080p.
The colours are acceptable (normal for a TN panel) and it is perfect for gaming as it is very responsive.
This BenQ screen is very well made for the price. The assembly is easy. The buttons look a bit cheap but that's not a big deal if you only touch them very rarely. I got this screen for my PS4 Pro and in anticipation of the PS5, and everything works fine with a 3840 x 2160 display.
HDR isn't really a plus but I would recommend this screen.
I'm not a gamer, web and multimedia use.
I am fully satisfied with this screen.
Excellent Q/P ratio
It's too wide a screen if you're 30cm away from the screen typing on your keyboard (60 is enough compared to standing back). So finally, it's only plugged into a PS4 PRO with a headset (with adjustable volume) plugged into the console controller. If you step back far enough, it's perfect
Since receiving it, I have had intermittent black screens. I have changed the graphics card to an RTX 2060, changed the USB cable, switched to Display port, still the same thing. I'm thinking of returning the screen to SAV.
