Could have been perfect...
I waited two months before receiving this cintiq 24 pro tablet which was not available from Wacom. It replaces my old and excellent 21UX tablet which is only outdated in its definition and still works.
I am back to Wacom quality with technical improvements in all aspects. Almost zero latency, improved precision, less parallax effects on the edges. The distance between the cursor and the tip of the pen is very small, screen quality, colours and contrast.
The 4K definition is really the big plus of this tablet which allows to draw in real print format. You can see all the fine details of the full and smooth lines, the fine screens and that without enlarging too much.
The only drawback to this tablet is the presence of fans that emit a rather loud noise level. If you are working in a noisy office environment this will go unnoticed but when you are at home in a quiet room it is horrible! I received it this summer when it was particularly hot, I noticed that above 22 degrees the ventilation runs at full speed, below that the ventilation calms down and remains at a just acceptable level...
This is why I only give three stars to this particularly noisy itech product which deserved five stars. For the price the manufacturer could have made the effort to install less noisy fans, one has the impression of working with the worst laptop when there is no computer! I can imagine the noise with the Pro Engine module to transform the tablet into a laptop....
I contacted Wacom's after-sales service with a sound recording but for them everything is normal.... The noise is something very relative depending on the person.
