Installed on an old PC (2009) instead of an old AMD Radeon HD 4850 fanless graphics card, it has considerably improved my screen image. In office use, it is perfect, does not heat up unlike the old one and allows me to run with all fans off in the case.
A true rejuvenation!
I've been using this card for a long time now and it's a great card for what I'm doing with it (multimedia server and office automation). It's very quiet (no fan), which makes a big difference compared to the hoover noise of my old card, I'm wondering if my computer is really on... I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to use it again, but I'm sure I'm going to be able to use it again, and I'm sure I'm going to be able to use it again.
And very professional delivery from LDLC, as usual...
The use of this graphics card is limited to basic office and Photoshop. The same concern as the Gt 610 is the graphics driver which becomes unstable. Especially on Android emulator.
I would also consider changing the thermal paste + ventirad (processor) as this improves performance.
It's an affordable card compared to any ATX box.
The stated size is 69mm wide, but the metal plate supporting the connectors is 120mm, so it is impossible to insert this card into a slim PC without dismantling this plate, so there is a risk of breakage if the PC or the cable to the screen is handled without great care.
Otherwise the card does its job properly.
Excellent value for money for this CG from a very good brand. It does exactly what you'd expect it to do, in dual-screen use for office, photo viewing, and internet browsing. I'm very pleased with the quality of the packaging and the speed of shipping... as usual with LDLC... we're getting jaded!
The graphics card was giving me a blue screen and was making the computer go berserk since I changed it to this new card. Asus Geforce GT710-SL-1GD5 graphics card, everything works perfectly and everything is fluid.
The idea was to refurbish an old PC into a server.
As there is no graphics card in the proc (Q9450) a CG fanless was welcome.
It replaces a rather noisy 8800 GTS 512. Now I don't hear the CG noise anymore and I can play the same games (Eve Online) but not in higher quality.
Under Windows 7, it works perfectly and everything is fluid.
So it will be perfect when I convert this PC to a server.
4.5 stars because as I can't test it with a PCI express 3 bus, I don't know what it does at maximum.
