Ventilator
I am looking forward to working with you on this project.
Other components are still waiting to be installed by other suppliers.
Low Noise Adaptor The NF-A12X15 is supplied with a Low Noise Adaptator (L.N.A.) which reduces the maximum speed from 1850 to 1400rpm. The L.N.A. is suitable for both fixed speed operation and PWM clamped operation. |
Extensive wiring options
The first fan cable is a short 20cm cable to minimise the space requirement for routine use. The supplied 30cm extension cable will solve any distance problems.

Flow Acceleration Channels
The NF-A12X15 impeller is equipped with flow channels on the suction side of the fan. The flow acceleration generated at the tips of the blades creates a more massive, less dispersed suction, thus increasing efficiency.
|
AAO frame
Noctua's AAO(Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames are equipped with anti-vibration mounts and benefit from exclusive optimisations to push the limits of performance and silence.
|
||
Stepped Inlet Design
Noctua's Stepped Inlet design adds turbulence to the inlet flow, allowing a gradual transition from laminar to turbulent flow. This reduces noise emissions, generates a more massive flow and increases suction power.
|
Inner Surface Microstructures
As the blade tips move in a boundary layer influenced by the presence of an Inner Surface Microstructure, the flow separation that takes place at the suction level becomes almost non-existent.
|
||
Integrated anti-vibration dampers
The integrated anti-vibration mounts, made of extra soft silicone, limit the transmission of vibrations while ensuring perfect compatibility with standard fastening systems.
|
SSO2 Bearing
This is the latest generation of the SSO2 bearing, which is even more optimised. The SSO2 is equipped with a rear magnet closer to the axle for greater precision, durability and stability.

6-year manufacturer's warranty
Noctua fans are renowned for their quality and durability. As with all Noctua models, the NF-A12X15 has an MTBF of over 150,000 hours of testing and is backed by a full 6 year manufacturer's warranty.

This ventirad replaces the original ventirad delivered with my lepa watercooling. This one runs slower but it's much quieter at high speed and the efficiency of this ventirad being more than correct I gained in comfort while maintaining my processor in acceptable average in 1440p
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the same cooling system as the one I'm using now, but I'm sure it's a good idea to use the same cooling system as the one I'm using now, and I'm sure it's a good idea to use the same cooling system as the one I'm using now.
my fx8350 config
I bought two NF-A12X15FLX to put on the radiator of my watercooling kit (lack of space between my motherboard and my radiator)
From a hardware point of view, nothing to say, Noctua, a sure value. The fans are expensive, but they are very quiet (if you run them at minimum) for a very correct airflow.
If like me you want to install this fan because of lack of space (otherwise you might as well take a classic 25mm thick Noctua fan) and you want to install it on your radiator, think about the screws! With your radiator, you will be provided with screws for 25mm thick fans, so 30mm screws with probably only 5mm thread at the end of the screw. For the Noctua, there are screws to fix the fan directly on the case, so very short screws with a big thread. Personally, the screws I needed were not a common size that could be found in a DIY shop, I needed a 3.5 diameter. If you also need a screw of this diameter, type on google "M3.5", if you type "diameter 3.5", you will search for a while. I lost 2 weeks after receiving the fans to find the screws I needed and the time to have them delivered!
Otherwise I recommend these fans (if you have a space problem)
