Overview
The Eaton 9PX2200IRT3U UPS offers advanced protection for small and medium-sized data centres, computer rooms and infrastructure. The Eaton 9PX2200IRT3U is the first double conversion on line UPS in its class to provide a unit power factor (VA=W).

Performance and Efficiency:
  • The 9PX UPS is the first in its class to provide a unit power factor (VA=W). It allows more servers to be powered.
  • Energy Star certified, the 9PX offers maximum energy efficiency with minimal power and cooling costs.
  • On-Line Double Conversion topology, the 9PX UPS continuously monitors power conditions and regulates voltage and frequency.
  • Convertible Tower or Rack installation format, the 9PX is the smallest solution

Flexibility of use:
  • The uniquegraphical LCD display clearly shows UPS status and power data.
  • It can measure power consumption down to output group level and allows monitoring of kWh values via its display or Eaton Intelligent Power software.
  • Load segment control (on the output sockets) ensures that non-essential equipment is shut down first, maximising the life of critical equipment.
  • The 9PX has serial and USB connectors, as well as a slot for a communication card (optional except on Netpack models where it is automatically included).

Availability and Flexibility:
  • The 9PX 1000/1500/2200 and 3000 are available in RT2U format (optimised for rack installation) or RT3U for the 2200 and 3000 models (tower or shallow racks). Each model is supplied with feet and rack mounting kit.
  • Internal bypass ensures continuity of service in the event of a device failure.
  • Increased battery life: Eaton's ABM battery management system is based on a three-phase charging technique that extends battery life by up to 50%.
  • Up to 4 hot swappable battery modules can be added for extended battery life.

    Good product

Compliant product, the network card is missing for a product at this price.
Easy to install with the rack kit.

Impeccable, but with the optional network card!

I bought this inverter for a radio. Some very sensitive equipment really can't stand the micro cuts of a Line-Interactive UPS (which is more than enough for most people). There's a colossal difference between Offline/Line-Int and Online models, so I thought long and hard before buying one.
It's noisier, it uses more power than other technologies, it's bigger, heavier and more expensive, but that's the price you pay for peace of mind!
The optional network card is really necessary though. It's very useful for monitoring the UPS, especially if you're often at a distance or if the UPS is located in an inaccessible (but ventilated!) place.

And like the previous comments, LDLC should redo the product presentation page, especially the photos which don't represent the right product.

    Good inverter but LDLC ...

The inverter is good ( for the moment no problem )
a disappointment all the same but that comes from LDLC, because contrary to the photos the inverter is delivered without the HotSwap MBP kit.
This is the kit that allows a hot swap of the inverter thanks to a bypass mode with a switch at the back.

    Excellent Inverter

Being subject to strong electrical variations, I needed a UPS to protect my electronics (TV, HiFi, etc.). This inverter met all the criteria. I have experienced voltage fluctuations and power failures and it has done the job perfectly. The inverter is also easy to install.
