Easy to install with the rack kit.
I bought this inverter for a radio. Some very sensitive equipment really can't stand the micro cuts of a Line-Interactive UPS (which is more than enough for most people). There's a colossal difference between Offline/Line-Int and Online models, so I thought long and hard before buying one.
It's noisier, it uses more power than other technologies, it's bigger, heavier and more expensive, but that's the price you pay for peace of mind!
The optional network card is really necessary though. It's very useful for monitoring the UPS, especially if you're often at a distance or if the UPS is located in an inaccessible (but ventilated!) place.
And like the previous comments, LDLC should redo the product presentation page, especially the photos which don't represent the right product.
The inverter is good ( for the moment no problem )
a disappointment all the same but that comes from LDLC, because contrary to the photos the inverter is delivered without the HotSwap MBP kit.
This is the kit that allows a hot swap of the inverter thanks to a bypass mode with a switch at the back.
Being subject to strong electrical variations, I needed a UPS to protect my electronics (TV, HiFi, etc.). This inverter met all the criteria. I have experienced voltage fluctuations and power failures and it has done the job perfectly. The inverter is also easy to install.
