I took this cable to DVI a GTX 260 which has only one HDMI port occupied by VR.
The cable is really short, I thought 1 meter was longer but that's my fault, it just went through. So measure carefully if you decide.
It seems very solid to me, it doesn't move an inch, it's well inked. It's really nothing to complain about.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy it for the price of 30€ per cable, but it's a good idea.
I had already bought another cable of this type which unfortunately never worked. Not so with this one... It works perfectly. You plug it in and it works.
The meter of cable is a bit short though... especially if the CPU is not next to the monitor on the desk.
The cable is shielded and has a locking system on the display port (visible on the picture). So be careful when unplugging, press and pull well.
I recommend this cable.
Strengths: The price is affordable.
Weaknesses: the cable may be a little short but that's okay.
Other points: a small clip on the DisplayPort to prevent it from disconnecting is a good idea.
Conclusion: bought without hesitation, does the job for a reasonable price.
Bought this to display the image of my elitebook on my flat screen. The picture and sound are wonderful. I was a little surprised at first about the colour of the cable sheath, which was a little discoloured, but apparently it's an environmentally friendly plastic.
