Exceptionally quiet!
The
NF-A14 PWM is a quiet, high-end 140mm fan with a square frame that meets
Noctua's AAO
(Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) standard. Its square shape and 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing) make it the ideal companion for watercooling heat sinks or 140mm fan cases.
Featuring the latest in aerodynamic technology, including Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A14 takes the cooling performance for which the NF-P14 is famous to the next level. The PWM version benefits from Noctua's proprietary NE-FD1 IC which allows fully automated speed control via the 4-pin fan connectors. The supplied low noise adapter
(LNA) also allows the speed to be capped at 1200rpm in PWM mode.
The performance of the NF-A14 PWM, including its high speed
(up to 1500rpm), combined with its comprehensive speed control options, make this fan the obvious choice for users who are always looking for the perfect balance between cooling capacity and quietness, whether in a watercooling configuration or for use on a fan tray or within a case.

Successor to the famous NF-P14
Noctua's NF-P14 fan has become the benchmark in the PC world. Thanks to numerous successive aerodynamic optimisations, the NF-A14 now offers increased static pressure and an even better airflow/noise ratio than its predecessor.

140mm square frame
The NF-A14's 140mm square frame has 140mm mounting holes(124.5mm spacing), making it ideal for use with conventional 140mm enclosures or watercooling fans.
Flow Acceleration Channels
The NF-A14 impeller is fitted with flow channels on the suction side of the fan. The flow acceleration generated at the tips of the blades creates a more massive, less dispersed suction, thus increasing efficiency.
AAO frame
Noctua's AAO(Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames are equipped with anti-vibration mounts and benefit from exclusive optimisations to push the limits of performance and silence.
Stepped Inlet Design
Noctua's Stepped Inlet design adds turbulence to the inlet flow, allowing a gradual transition from laminar to turbulent flow. This reduces noise emissions, generates a more massive flow and increases suction power.
Inner Surface Microstructures
As the blade tips move in a boundary layer influenced by the presence of an Inner Surface Microstructure, the flow separation that takes place at the suction level becomes almost non-existent.
Integrated anti-vibration dampers
The integrated anti-vibration mounts, made of extra soft silicone, limit the transmission of vibrations while ensuring perfect compatibility with standard fastening systems.
SSO2 Bearing
This is the latest generation of the SSO2 bearing, which is even more optimised. The SSO2 is equipped with a rear magnet closer to the axle for greater precision, durability and stability.
Metal bearings
In order to ensure the highest quality of workmanship, durability and stability, the NF-A14 is equipped with a CNC machined brass bearing.
Low noise adapter
The NF-A14 is supplied with a Low Noise Adaptator (L.N.A.) which reduces the maximum speed from 1500 to 1200rpm. The L.N.A. is suitable for both fixed speed operation (1200rpm) and for use in flanged PWM mode.
Exclusive PWM IC system with SCD
Compatible with PWM automated speed control systems, the NF-A14s feature the latest NE-FD1 PWM IC which incorporates Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By generating less abrupt torque pulses, SCD eliminates the noise associated with PWM switching for quieter fan speeds.
Extensive wiring options
The first fan cable is a short 20cm (8") cable to minimise space requirements for common applications. The supplied 30cm extension cable will solve any distance problems.

6-year manufacturer's warranty
Noctua fans are renowned for their high quality and long service life. As with all Noctua models, the NF-A14 has an MTBF of over 150,000 test hours and comes with a full 6-year manufacturer's warranty.
