Quiet 140mm case fan.

Overview

THE top-of-the-range solution for 140mm ventilation requirements.

The Noctua NF-A14 PWM Chromax retains the cooling performance and silence levels of the famous NF-A14 while offering a colour palette combining the 100% black look of the fan with red, white, blue, green, yellow or black anti-vibration silentblocks. This makes it easy to coordinate the fan with the rest of the components in your configuration... For even greater customisation, a wide choice of silentblocs, anti-vibration clips and coloured cables is also available as an option. With a premium SSO2 bearing, an MTTF of over 150,000 hours and a 6-year manufacturer's warranty, the NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap is the ideal choice for users who value impeccable aesthetics as much as uncompromising quality and performance.

Coloured anti-vibration silencers

The NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap comes with 4 NA-AVP1 anti-vibration silencers in black, white, red, green, blue or yellow. By combining different colours with black, or by choosing to leave one side of the fan without silencers, the fan can immediately be aesthetically harmonised with most popular colour themes.

The NF-A14's 140mm square frame features 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing), making it ideal for use with conventional 140mm enclosures or watercooling fans. In such applications, its square shape offers optimised space utilisation and maximum pressure.

Flow Acceleration Channels

The NF-A14 impeller is fitted with flow channels on the suction side of the fan. The flow acceleration generated at the tips of the blades creates a more massive, less dispersed suction, thus increasing efficiency while reducing the noise disturbance associated with vortexes.

Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames are equipped with anti-vibration silent blocks and benefit from exclusive optimisations that push the limits of performance and silence even further: Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures.

Exclusive PWM integrated circuit with SCD

Compatible with PWM automated speed control systems, the fans in the chromax line are equipped with the latest NE-FD1 PWM integrated circuit incorporating SCD (Smooth Commutation Drive) technology. By generating less abrupt torque pulses, the SCD system eliminates the noise associated with PWM switching, ensuring quieter ventilation at reduced speeds.

    Excellence without noise

I have been using noctua fans for several years now, and although they are more expensive than the average fan, I have not found them to be as efficient or as quiet.

    Excellent

Go figure why a Noctua is better than another one... It looks like any other fan and yet... I replaced two corsairs that were a bit too loud. Boom 7° less in the case.

    Golden fan

I just bought this fan to replace the one on my full black case. The choice of this fan was obvious because of its customization and its black colour. Really efficient and of a quality + bundle that is foolproof. Another great NOCTUA. I recommend it.

    High-performance, black fans at last

As usual Noctua has made some very good quality fans.
closer to industrial and it's nice to have
and it's nice to have pro fans for the consumer market.
Finally they put some color.... Oops they put fans in black.
We are all looking for performance but if there is a disgn side to the colour... Then top!
Apart from the cosmetic not the most important thing these fans do a perfect job

    unbelievable, what silence!

    I replaced my 2 fans, Noctua NF-P14s Redux-1500 PWM with these 2. installed in push/pull. on a nh-c14s.(installed in a large tower).
and! unbelievable. they are quieter than the redux at the same speed.
they are inaudible at 1000rpm. so i could oc my i7 8700k at 4.7ghz. without it heating up too much in games or video editing.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it in a game or in a video.
at 1100rpm and 1200rpm they are audible. but it is very much bearable.
mounted at full throttle it sounds like a wartercooling pump. a d5 laing.
The anti-vibration pads are nice to give some colour to the case. I put the black ones on. I have rgb led ribbons for colour.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a black one.
the-: well as usual. the price.
