With speeds of up to 1000Mbps and a maximum switching capacity of 48Gbps, the JGS524v2 switches offer the performance to meet the demands of bandwidth-intensive applications. The JGS524v2 switches are ideal for graphics, multimedia and all applications that involve the rapid transfer of large files over the network.
Each port automatically detects the speed and duplex mode required, and thanks to the AutoUplink feature, recognises the type of cable, crossed or not, and adapts the connection accordingly. The JGS500 switches are designed to allow you to connect a variety of 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps devices to your network.
Green power management
The JGS524v2 has an intelligent power supply that allows you to save energy and help the planet. It automatically shuts down when there is no activity, and only powers the ports that are in use. It detects the length of the cables used to provide the right power to each port. This means that maximum power is only required for cable lengths of 10 metres or more.

works very well. does its job. quiet. reacts very well to mains loads. does not overheat.
It works.... no slowdown even with a lot of traffic between computers and other switches....that's the point of 48gb bandwidth. makes less noise and consumes less power than the previous generation which lasted 8 years.
