I chose an entry-level gaming computer to be sure of getting good performance, even when I'm not gaming, and good connectivity (Ethernet port in particular). I'm not disappointed: very fast from start-up, never freezes, silent thanks to the SSD. It's a real pleasure!
On the downside, the fans tend to run at full speed for no particular reason. Perhaps this is usual for this type of machine? To avoid this, I've set everything to energy-saving or silent mode, and that solves the problem 99% of the time. On the few occasions when it does happen, you just switch the PC off and on again, which only takes 10 seconds.
For gaming, I don't know, but for office work and multimedia, I'd recommend it.
