Quick and easy to install
It also makes it easier to connect devices to the network.
Note that not all routers support OneMesh to distribute the same SSID everywhere.

Easy to set up, with a well-designed app for configuring the machine. Excellent value for money. It sends the wired signal from the PLC back to WiFi. Great.
As usual, LDLC is top notch when it comes to preparation and delivery to Reunion Island ?
Although I'm a bit of a geek, I don't know how a repeater works. On the face of it, there's nothing difficult about it, but when, during installation, the repeater suggested that I give the extended SSID a different name, I wondered about the usefulness of this feature. What's more, the installation wasn't straightforward: first I went through the Android app and followed the instructions exactly, but when I finished, the LEDs weren't lighting up properly. After a reset, I tried again using a computer and connecting to the repeater's Wi-Fi network. The manual clearly explains the different methods for configuring the repeater. The app shows me which devices are connected to the repeater, and there's a nice little feature where you can turn off the LEDs at a set time.
Short version: it's all in the title, really.
Very easy to use.
The WEB application for assessing the optimum layout is very useful.
Only drawback: no switch.
F.F.
Does its job RAS.
TP-Link is one of the benchmark products in terms of quality and reliability.
The product that solved all my wifi problems, in repeater mode it's really perfect. Not tested in access point mode.
I don't know if it's the Wifi 6 or simply the power of this router, but I've just rediscovered the internet in my home!
It's powerful (so), it's stable, it's fast and with two routers I've covered my whole house whereas before I needed 4.
It's a real revolution!
I bought an EAP225 and a RE705X repeater to set up a WiFi link between my wooden house and a wooden workshop about forty metres away.
After two evenings of unsuccessful attempts to set up the connection, I called TP Link's Help Desk, who solved the problem on the second email.
I'm not a network pro but I manage. The TP Link documentation is fairly succinct and not very clear. My biggest problem was thinking that the Home -> Workshop link had to be via the Box -> RE705X repeater in the home -> EAP 255 Access Point in the workshop chain, whereas it's Box -> EAP 255 Access Point in the home -> RE705X repeater in the workshop. Not obvious from the product description... But it works perfectly.
