small format, small capacity, but top performance, beats any 2.5" SSD by a mile!
After 2 years of use, I'm still very happy to have installed my OS. Fast access, just as I'd hoped!
However, despite an updated bios, I was unable to connect this drive to the CM's 1st port (ref. below).
Connected to the 2nd port, it was immediately recognised.
Since the problem was with the CM, I'll give it a well-deserved 5 stars.
My configuration :
- ASRock B560 Pro4
- Intel Core i5-10400F (2.9 GHz / 4.3 GHz)
- Textorm 16 GB (2x 8 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz CL16
- ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce® GTX 1650 OC GDDR6 4 GB
- Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus M.2 PCIe NVMe 250 GB
- be quiet! Pure Loop 240 mm
- Fox Spirit GT-650P V2 80PLUS Platinum
Nothing to complain about, both the hardware and the LDLC service (bought in shop in Villefranche sur Saône).
Added to an Intel barebone, the PC boots up in a matter of seconds, which really makes a big difference compared to an HDD or even a SATA SSD. Samsung has nothing to prove in this area either, and their SSDs are pretty reliable.
The Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus M.2 PCIe NVMe 250GB is an excellent choice for users looking for a fast and reliable storage drive. It's ideal for desktops, laptops and games consoles. I bought it so that I could install games on it and everything obviously works perfectly, a little expensive but it is possible to find an equivalent for slightly less (for beginners obviously there are no cables included, just the SSD).
No problem, everything is in order. The hard disk fits well in my barebone. Quiet, fast, perfect.
The hard drive is extremely fast and reliable at the moment, 0 problems to report except that if you can add nvme and you don't have any, get some!
I ordered this M2 SSD, which holds "words" very well. The Asus Prime B 460 M-A motherboard (with 16GB Ram and an Intel Korean I3) recognizes it perfectly, without any problems.
After installing Windows 10 in 20 minutes, the M2 SSD delivers what it promises - the speeds are there. Windows starts almost instantly (5 seconds after pressing the start button).
The capacity is sufficient for me, only the applications with the OS.
Installation is very easy.
L.D.C.L. was again a good advisor for this M2 SSD....
but I'm waiting to see in the long run...
Win10 boots in 20s, that seems high to me.... I have an ssd that does much better.
What more can I say.
The drive mounted on a MSI Z270 pc mate + I5 7600k a 4.3 + 16GB of corsair revenge and this SSD Nvme = Boot in 4s !!!!!
I would recommend a smooth running system!
Perfect for games that launch in 1s!
LDLC 10/10 for speed!
-If you have a fully compatible MoBo with these features, then this SSD is top notch!
-Remember to install the Samsung Magician software, check that you have the Samsung NVMe driver, and enjoy!
-Does not heat up.
-Fast! (The higher the capacity of the SSD, the closer the transfer rate will be to the manufacturer's data).
This SSD card does the job perfectly. But does it do it better than others ???
I can't say...
Hello,
I am very satisfied with the SAMSUNG SSD 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIE NVME 250 GO.
It's a great product.
Excellent SSD, it has been installed in a Nas DS918+ to reduce write and read time for over a month and I can say that I do not regret my investment, as it does the job.
Very good SSD, I have nothing to say. I recommend!!! Fast install is still reliable and great value for money
Installed in an Intel Nuc i7 10th gen. under Ubuntu 20.04, nickel RAS for the "/" with databases + a 1TB SSD next to it for the "/home".
Subsequently ordered in 500GB* for my Macbook Pro Early 2015, works perfectly with an adapter to be ordered separately (+ 2 T5 P5 screwdrivers + a USB NVMe box to facilitate the transfer enormously). See video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SSxtWPogFQ for example.
* I don't put the review in the corresponding file because I bought in a local LDLC, so I don't have access to the customer review.
I've been using a Kingston SA400 SSD for a while now, but I'm not sure what to do...
I've tested 3500 and 2500 MB dry transfer instead of 450 MBS, what can I say! I'm living in the tropics and this SSD only goes up to 51° maximum in intensive use.
For the price! go there with your eyes closed
Very good service at all levels.
The service is very good and I would like to thank you for your excellent service.
Daily use since January 2020 in a Linux machine.
I'm a bit wary of the messed up QLC that no brand seems to master so my choice was this little TLC. For the moment it doesn't break down on site so the bet seems to be on. The 3-second boot time under ArchLinux is really impressive.
Windows starts almost instantly (only 5 seconds after pressing the start button).
The capacity is sufficient for me, only the applications with the OS and the games are on a HDD.
The installation is very easy.
Check that the M.2 port is NVME compatible to make the most of the SSD's capacity.
I'm putting my opinion on the one I bought on the site but I quickly opted for the 1TB model in the shop so I can't rate it (crappy system).
Mounted with a R7 3770x, 32GB ram 3600, MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO on MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS, it's humming, it's kicking, it's putting a slap in the face to everything we've known before!
The only drawback is that if your friends are not in M.2, you wait for them at each load x)
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a new one, but it's a good idea to have a new one, and it's a good idea to have a new one, and it's a good idea to have a new one.
If you hesitate, don't do it anymore but don't fuss; go directly to the 1TB or you'll regret it, it's unavoidable!
I installed 2 "SAMSUNG SSD 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIE NVME 250 GO" on my Synology DS918+ NAS, in r/w cache.
The Synology DSM system recognized them immediately without any problem. Immediate contribution in reactivity of the graphical interface, backups are improved by 30%, ... All applications benefit greatly.
So very happy with these Samsung MVNE. I did not make any specific measurements.
LDLC service at its best.
This is a very good SSD, which keeps its promises with flying colours. Perfectly recognized by the motherboard, without any problem.
After installing Windows in 20 minutes (with a gigabit local deployment server), two three tests were done with CrystalDiskMark and Samsung Magician: both give the same excellent results, and the SSD more than lives up to its promise: the speeds are there.
In order to give some "pep" to my Asus HM97-E based configuration (I5 3.6 AND 32 Giga of ram), I opted for this M2, which of course, mounts well on my motherboard. However, the announced performances, are not at the rendezvous, and even my 1to of stock, assembled on a traditional sata, performs clearly better: it is not the cause of this beautiful M2 disc, but of the fault of the port which is not when GEN2 (X2)... So beware of the old configuration. And that, neither the manufacturer of the CM, nor that of the DD, will tell you! So a small 7/10 for this lack of info... Well, let's face it, the configuration works very well...!
Product received quickly, easy installation on a Synology DS918+, works perfectly.
I recommend this product.
Excellent SSD: UEFI installation as a system disk under WIN10 without any problem.
Verified 3586MB/s read speed with a MSI B450 + R3 2200G CM. The PC is hyper responsive, it's a pleasure.
This drive is very fast, windows installed in 20 minutes from a USB3 UEFI key, boot up in less than 30 seconds from startup; post screen included...The heaviest apps are up and running in 10-15 seconds, my old Sata SSD is far behind....
We'll see with use, but for now, it's a killer...(3540 Mbs in reading, nearly 2800 in writing according to Samsung magician...)
I put up my tower, my old one having died, I had to go through an M.2 of course, and I don't regret it at all, very very fast, simple installation, I recommend the product with my eyes closed.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the service. I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of the product.
Very happy with this product.
Used it to install my OS and it boots up very quickly,
It does exactly what I chose it for: fast start up and use.
I recommend it
I replaced my system disk with this one
formerly a hdd + optane
(On acer nitro 5 laptop)
The result is amazing!
Very fast start up,
The software too
I still have to test the games now but I think it will be ok ;)
Frankly, for the price, why not take the best disc available to boost your system!
Installed on an ASUS PRIME X470-PRO, running Windows 10 64 bit, the SSD is super fast, no latency, and the PC boots up in seconds, a joy.
Fast delivery from LDLC.
Installed in my ASUS Tuf705gd-ew070 PC running Windows 10 family. The difference with my old "SSHD" hard drive is really impressive, no latency, no bugs and a very fast PC boot.
