Very nice RAM strip, easy to mount, simple design, good thickness, could have used heatsinks.
Good M.2, it works, fast ignition and stable temperature.
I bought it for my wife's new PC who wanted to play in full HD reso max 1080 and take advantage of the 144Hz of her new screen, so I chose Corsaire which is a bit cheaper than Samsung and does the job very well for her needs.
This M.2 is only intended to host its operating system and RGB management logis; nothing to complain about from its point of view.
From my point of view (more demanding) there are better things to buy:
Corsair: Read speed: 3100 MB/s --- Write speed: 1050 MB/s
Samsung: Read speed: 3500 MB/s --- Write speed: 2300 MB/s
I therefore advise the more fussy to turn to Samsung or to those who like me will turn to 1TB to host their games.
For those like my wife who only want an M.2 for the operating system and will host their games on a Sata SSD, the Corsaire product will be perfect.
It's a breeze to set up and the product holds up well.
I used it for the assembly of my first PC to be the disk dedicated to windows.
The PC starts up really fast (less than 5 seconds), it's a real pleasure!
The M2 PCIe NVMe port is formidable, it goes up to 2gb/s in read, 1 in write, we are closer to the speed of a DDR4 ramdisk than a SATA SSD!
I didn't compare latency/IOPS but the reactivity is much better on parallel disk operations, we finally exploit the potential of the i7 in this domain...
don't forget the specific screw/nuts provided with the CM to fix the M2 !
only one drawback: the corsair toolbox software whose interface seems to come out of the 2000s...
Windows 10 starts in less than 2 seconds. I don't know what else to say. Works perfectly for storing the OS and other software.
I ordered it to install in an Intel NUC and it works very well, boot up quickly, it's an SSD.
Very fast at start up. It's a shame I didn't get a larger capacity drive. 256GB only....... but good choice thanks to a LDLC contact. Great.
I ordered this small size SSD to put some games and especially my OS on it. Not disappointed so far, does its job, with its very high write speed, connected in M.2, I recommend.
Fast delivery even to the DOM.
Quality product.
Easy to install.
Not expensive.
Recommend it in every way.
Very good price and very fast. What a pleasure!
The hardest part was opening my laptop without breaking anything but with patience...
Functional, quick to install and runs smoothly.
I preferred to remove the label to harmonize the whole and optimize the cooling, we regret the absence of backplate but for this price we will say nothing.
Very good product, largely up to my expectations. Nothing to complain about, if you are looking for a reliable NVME this one will do the trick.
Fast, but I don't see any noticeable difference with my SATA SSDs in terms of boot speed. However my ASUS H97 PRO motherboard is not the latest generation.
I am very satisfied with the speed, reliability and price
I don't need a bigger capacity otherwise I would have taken a bigger one
My first SSD in this format, easy to mount on a CM with the right port (use a very thin cruciform)
After adjusting the CM, we boot like a SATA SSD, it's incredibly fast, in my eyes it's the same revolution to go from SATA HDD to SATA SSD as from SATA SSD to NVMe
What guided me in my choice: write speed / read speed IOP, it's not that much more expensive than SDDs with a 500 MB/s read and write limit
Perfect purchase, hoping it will last at least 5 years like my old SAMSUNG 840 EVO (which still works)
The product works well, and improves the performance of my PC. I'm very pleased with the product.
