        Great!

What to say ... I'll try to be objective but not easy.
I bought the rival 650 (wired) 2-3 years ago and I was not disappointed at all:

        Positive:
        - Exceptional finish and ergonomics: A very soft and pleasant texture in the hand, which remains adherent even after several hours of play with perspiration.
        - The RGB lighting is easy to set up thanks to the Steelseries engine, both sober and stylish.
        - 3 extra macros (perfect for me) + one on top to switch between the two sensitivity settings.
        - Unparalleled reaction speed with full customisation of DPI and mouse trajectory settings.
        - Ability to add or remove weight and quality packaging.

        Negatives:
        - After several years of playing FPS's extensively in particular, the glue on the grips on both sides of the mouse started to peel off with the heat of the fingers. (I simply removed some of the grips and everything was fine)
        - The cable was getting in the way of my movements and making me lose precision.

For these two reasons I decided to switch to the wireless version of the Rival 650.
Take all the positives that the wired version had and add:
        - Long battery life and full charge in 15 minutes thanks to the cord (just plug in the cord and go)
        - Quick and easy wireless configuration
        - Battery saving sleep mode, click to disable sleep mode

        Conclusion:
A price may be high, but a very high quality product. I recommend this mouse 100%.
Now we have to see if the grips will stay in place.

        Mitigated

The battery of my first mouse broke after 6 months. No worries, LDLC sent me another one in the wake BUT, this one bugs a lot (multicoloured strobe) so much so that I downloaded a software to reset it. I've been using it for a while now, but the rubbers are coming off little by little: I have to put strong glue dots on it, which is very annoying for a mouse at this price.

        A great mouse!

I was looking for THE mouse that would make me go wireless and well I found it!
The finish is superb and the grip is very natural. It's very easy to use, you just plug in the adapter and it works instantly. The buttons are very nice and the thumbwheel is well notched. The battery life is good, so you won't have to worry about it during your long gaming sessions. I would advise you to set your mouse so that when it is in motion, the RGB is turned off, thus prolonging the battery life.
The only "negative" point I could remember is the 3rd side button which is not as easy to access as the others but not unreachable either ;)
In short I highly recommend it if you want to go wireless you won't be disappointed!

        Well, but...

I bought this mouse a little over a year ago. I left a 10/10 review but I want to lower my rating for one reason only; durability.
The soft rubber areas on the sides of the mouse do come off, which is not normal for a mouse at this price. I have to put super strong glue dots under these areas and the mouse tends to stick because of the old one that doesn't hold anymore and leaks. I am surprised that no one has complained about this in the reviews. Apart from that, the mouse is comfortable, performs well and looks good.

        The Mice For Me

I was looking for a wireless mouse, and the Rival 650 immediately appealed to me visually.
The three buttons on the left side are very handy (and I set them to manage the sound on my PC).
I'm sure you'll find it very easy to use the Rival 650, and I'm sure you'll find it very easy to use.
I'm using it with an old carpet and it does the job.
All in all, very happy with this birthday present ^_

Buy it with your eyes closed

The weight system offers a real comfort when handling the mouse.
The response time is imperceptible and the software allows you to adjust the mouse as you wish. The ergonomic design makes it easy to hold, even with large hands. This product is really excellent.

        Perfect

I took this little 650 to change my old Logitech G900 whose thumbwheel was starting to deteriorate. I was essentially criticizing this one for its poor quality plastic for a 150 euros product. When I got the 650, I knew what I was paying for. A very good quality plastic, very pleasant buttons, a more than correct autonomy, a wireless without latency, and an ergonomics FOREVER!

Nothing to say, I'm still looking for the flaws and I'm not disappointed with SteelSeries!
