What can I say except that it's a USB hub, you plug it in, plug in your different USB peripherals and it works.

Connected to an IMac, it's the only hub with a long enough cable. Small and solid, perfectly functional. Very good.
perfect for having USB ports close at hand without having to climb behind the tower. there's no third-party power supply, so if it's for plugging in external hard drives or other power-hungry devices, I'm not sure it'll work. but if it's for putting USB sticks or other low-guzzling peripherals, it's great.

The only problem is that the cable is far too short, which limits the hub's practicality (it's better suited to laptops than to tower PCs).
I needed a USB hub but I didn't want to buy the usual cheap plastic ones with questionable reliability. So I invested in this metal hub. It works perfectly and immediately. In short, a useful and lasting purchase (I hope).
Too bad, it broke down after 6 months: there's still the USB power supply but it's impossible to recognise a USB key, mouse or keyboard.
I know that LDLC's after-sales service will replace it without a second thought, but I'm not sure I'll be using the same model again.

The USB devices are well recognized with this hub but the cable is a bit short if you want to have a remote access.
this product looks good but it doesn't accept some hard drives and that's a shame because it would have been perfect for my 4TB ssd
Bought to replace the 2 USB 2.0 ports on the front of my PC which have become defective over time and destroy my USB keys one after the other, I was looking for a USB 3.0 hub without external power supply with a cable long enough for me to connect it to a USB 3.0 port on the back of my PC. 40 centimetres is still too short. If it accepts a USB flash drive or fan without any problem, my mechanical external hard drive won't work on it.
I've been using it for a while now and it's a good idea to check it out.

Poorly recognized (especially when the PC comes out of standby, I think): it is often necessary to unplug it and plug it back in again for the peripherals connected to it to be recognized (thus going back behind the tower, whereas the purpose of this purchase was precisely to avoid this), despite the fact that the LED remains lit on the hub. Whether it's under Windows or Linux.
The transfer rates are reduced and less stable compared to using the direct port.
The cable is also far too short, which is incomprehensible for a product of this type.
Really not great for the price.

This usb 3 hub is very good, I already had one and this one is also efficient to make ultra fast transfer between two hard drives. in any case here the quality is not paid at full price.
