The GD4520 is part of the Gryphon 4500 family, Datalogic 's top-of-the-range handheld readers for all applications. Designed to meet users' needs, the Gryphon GD4500 features an exceptional design, unrivalled ergonomics and the most advanced megapixel sensor with white-light 2D technology for unrivalled reading performance.
Ideal for reading in manual or presentation mode, the Gryphon GD4500 features Motionix technology , which detects the operator's movements and switches to the required mode automatically. This technology works with or without the stand, offering more operational choices. The viewfinder and sensor can be programmed according to the user's preferences. This reader features white-light reading technology that is easy to see while remaining comfortable for the operator. Its 4-point aiming system clearly delimits the reading zone and avoids the risk of "accidental" scans. The cross in the centre of the viewfinder makes it easy to read code boards or price lists.
The Gryphon GD4500 reader offers unrivalled scanning performance on the most frequently used 1D and 2D codes, as well as postal codes, stacked codes and compound codes such as PDF417. High Density (HD) models are available for reading smaller codes. A dedicated version with a red light beam is capable of reading Digital Watermarking codes. This Imager reader is also ideal for ticketing and mobile marketing applications, as it reads codes on smartphone screens. Thanks to improved motion tolerance, codes placed on fast-moving objects can be read easily.
