Honeywell 's Granit 1980i industrial reader incorporates long range matrix imaging technology to read 1D and 2D barcodes from 15 cm to 15 meters. A great asset to your business, it handles poor quality 7.5 mil paper codes read at close range and 100 mil retroreflective codes hung in warehouses. This high-performance model is designed to read virtually any bar code, while maximizing operator productivity in the most demanding environments. The 1980i incorporates a host of technologies that make it easy to use, such as an integrated laser pointing system with automatic illumination, omni-directional reading, centre decode functionality and more, to ensure unparalleled reading accuracy at great distances. Forklift operators with on-board mobile computers, such as Honeywell's Thor Series, will appreciate the ability to read codes from a great distance while sitting down, resulting in significant productivity gains. As part of the Granit range, the 1980i is designed to withstand the toughest working conditions. Featuring an industry-leading Granit housing, the 1980i is IP65 rated and designed to withstand 5,000 drops from 1m and 50 drops from 2m onto a concrete floor.
