Very good processor, efficient and doesn't heat up much.
So although this generation of processor has received mixed reviews, it's still a very good processor in its own right. It doesn't perform as well in games as the latest AMD, and is barely better than the 14th generation intel... But... its 3nm etching and low power consumption give it some major strengths.
For example, in full bench mode, it does not exceed 80°C when cooled by a BeQuiet PureLoop 240! Yes, a simple 240 is more than enough to keep it below 80°C under full load!
So if you currently have a modern Intel 13th or 14th GEN processor, or one of the latest AMD X3Ds, you'll have to pass. On the other hand, if you have an older configuration, 12th GEN or older, then this processor is a very good replacement model, and you'll have nothing but gains in every respect.
An Ox114 microcode should arrive by the end of 2024/early 2024, which will increase performance by around 3%, while reducing power consumption by around 10%. So don't forget to update your BIOS ;)
