The JBL 250B features a 25 mm aluminium dome tweeter with HDI waveguide, and a 130 mm mid-bass driver. This serious acoustic configuration can be concealed by a fabric grille. The front panel of the JBL 250B is finished in an espresso wood veneer, while the rear features a bass-reflex port and a pair of terminal blocks. The JBL 250B can be mounted on a dedicated stand, sold separately. The spikes of the Stage 2 stand can be adjusted directly on the top of its base, without having to lift the whole unit.

Whereas the first Stage series was essentially designed to make the JBL aura more affordable, this new Stage 2 range is closer to the essence of JBL's flagship loudspeakers, while maintaining a perfectly rational budget. Stage 2 is intended to be the component - combined with the amplifiers in the JBL MA range - of home stereo and cinema systems that are accessible - in every sense of the word - offering prestige acoustic performance and stylish JBL photo-engineering to as many people as possible. New finishes with mouth-watering names - "espresso" and "latte" - ensure the perfect aesthetic cohesion of these systems, which are as elegant as they are easy to install, whatever the owner's level of technical expertise.
