Because bass sounds are difficult to locate, you have enough freedom to choose the location of the subwoofer to suit you. There is no ideal position, and this applies to all subwoofers. The cheaper versions are best placed in a corner, while the more expensive versions often sound better when they have space. The type of audio signal can be decisive in choosing the ideal position.
