What heat!
A PC that initially met my expectations for production and live audio. The 32GB of RAM is very useful for large projects with lots of plugins, and the processor handles real-time processing very well.
However, after only a few months of use, the temperature soared to over 100°C, triggering throttling. I'll leave you to imagine the result during a live performance.
On the manufacturing side, don't be fooled by the photos: most of the case is made of plastic, except for the aluminium screen cover, but this is of poor quality: deformations appear very quickly without any noticeable impact.
In terms of ergonomics, the fan is very poorly placed on the left-hand side (so it's easy to inadvertently block it with an external drive, as the only USB A port is located next to the fan).
The other ports are on the right-hand side, which makes it difficult to use a mouse.
The keyboard is pretty stupid, with LEDs that don't turn off by themselves after a certain amount of inactivity, a shift key that reverses itself from time to time and a power button to the left (?) of the delete key, which leads, when you're used to the reverse, to pressing delete when you want to put the machine to sleep.
The touchpad is well made, and supports mutlitouch (fortunately), but it's poorly positioned (or too large) in relation to the left-hand side of the keyboard (which is often used for shortcuts, so you often click on it unintentionally).
The screen is very good, but it's not even covered in glass, just soft plastic like it was 10 years ago!
In conclusion, I'd say it's a powerful machine but hampered by poor thermal management, ergonomics that leave a lot to be desired and a cheap design worthy of the early 2010s.
In fact, I find myself spending over 1,000€ on gear that's costing me notoriety and therefore money.
