This highly efficient power supply incorporates an innovative fan regulation system that prevents the fan from starting at low load and starts only when the temperature requires cooling. Fully modular, it allows clean, customisable installation, while helping to improve internal airflow.
Hydrodynamic Bearing Fan (FDB)
High-performance hydrodynamic bearing fans (FDB) are designed to take advantage of the impact of oil absorption effects. They are extremely reliable and generate much less noise and heat during operation than ball-bearing fans. Lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration, which also reduces the fan's overall power consumption. Thanks to smoother, quieter rotation and the quality of its manufacture, this highly reliable technology increases the life of the fan.
As the fan shaft rotates, high-pressure oil spreads along the grooves of the bearing sleeve to create a thin layer of lubrication on the ball bearing. As the speed increases, so does the dynamic pressure of the oil. The fan shaft then lifts out of the bearing to rotate effortlessly.
