Offering both wireless and wired connections, the ECM-S1 portable streaming microphone is a compact, lightweight, high-performance device that delivers clear, high-quality sound with low noise and offset levels for easy recording and streaming, indoors or out.

Although compact and lightweight, the ECM-S1 is equipped with three large-diameter (14 mm) microphone capsules that provide clear, high-quality audio recording with a flat frequency response, particularly in the low-to-mid vocal range, while suppressing unwanted noise. Audio quality contributes greatly to the overall impression left on viewers by a well-produced video.

Selectable directionality, filter functions...

The microphone's intrinsically low noise and wide dynamic range mean that low-level sounds can be captured clearly. Designed for streaming, the microphone is specially tuned to capture the rich textures of the human voice.

Three directional modes are available: unidirectional, omnidirectional and stereo. A switch on the side of the microphone allows you to select the directional pattern best suited to the current scene.

A digital filter eliminates background noise, while a low-cut filter on the microphone reduces low-frequency sounds caused by wind, air conditioners and vibrations. A pop filter is included to prevent annoying noise from vocal plosives when the microphone is placed close to the speaker's mouth, allowing voices to be recorded.

Compact design for long outdoor shoots

TheECM-S1 consists of a compact, lightweight transmitter microphone and receiver that offer excellent functionality and superior digital audio quality. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. An independent audio level dial lets you adjust the audio input level in real time. In addition, the LINK indicator lets you check the status of the connection between the microphone and receiver.

The receiver and microphone each have a built-in battery. The receiver operates continuously on direct power when connected to the camera's Multi Interface Shoe, a PC or another device..The microphone provides 13 hours of continuous use on a full charge. It's ideal for extended use.

Easier audio recording thanks to Bluetooth 5.3 wireless transmission. The ECM-S1 has a maximum range of 150 mwhichFinally, the microphone can be fixed to a stand during recording, and can be aimed forwards or backwards. It is also possible to use the 1/4" thread at the base of the microphone to mount it on a tripod, or use a conversion adapter to attach it to a boom arm.
