TCL C843 has a very good image and audio quality. It is very easy to install and it feels sturdy. The brightness, contrast and colors are very good. For its price, it is very good value for money.
In addition the whole process of buying this TV through LDLC and getting it delivered was excellent.
This is my first 4K screen and the result is stunning. On a 55-inch, I was a bit worried about the result on 720p TV channels, but the result is perfectly acceptable.
As for conventional Blu-rays (full HD), I don't know how much upscaling is involved but it's impossible to tell.
As for videos and films in 4K / uhd, it's superb. Activating the HDR function makes volumes and faces really strikingly realistic, it's almost too much and I regularly deactivate it so as not to have the unpleasant impression that the characters in the film are in my living room - I'm hardly exaggerating.
The integrated Android TV allows access to various apps such as Netflix / Amazon Prime / Disney+ etc., so I can now do without my 'Mi box'.
All at a very reasonable price compared to the usual big TV brands.
Image very, very close to OLED.
Exceptional contrast.
The Onkyo sound has a lot of depth.
I recommend it with my eyes closed.
It's a very good TV, with a great picture, and it's so much brighter than my old TV, as is the sound.
The range of apps is very comprehensive. The only regret is that it's not always easy to see what you've selected.
The aura around the icon is a little too discreet.
Delivery was quick and trouble-free.
