Good but not perfect
I bought this keyboard to replace my excellent Logitech K740, which is sadly no longer in production.
I like :
- the simple, elegant design
- the backlighting doesn't spill over everywhere
- the keys offer good typing precision
- the ability to hot-plug up to 4 other computers (radio, Bluetooth1, Bluetooth2, wired)
- compact, but with the usual layout
- volume keys at top right
- the volume keys are the same as the other keys (no special buttons or scroll wheel)
I have a few regrets
- the backlight only illuminates the top of the key, but that's typical of all mechanical keyboards I know
- the impact at the end of the stroke is a bit harsh, causing a slight pain in the fingertips, especially after several hours of use
- the high price
- I would have liked the Delete key to occupy two slots, but to my knowledge only the K740 offers this excellent idea
I really regret :
- the function key, which is incredibly badly placed: here it's on the left instead of the right, unlike other keyboards. It's very easy to accidentally press it instead of the Ctrl or Windows key, which makes you miss a keystroke, and sometimes even unlocks the row of keys F1 to F12.
- the backlight is too bright, even at the minimum setting
- if you switch off the backlighting, some keys remain lit up
