Positive points: the monitor is not noisy and is very responsive.
Negatives: the screen is very difficult to adjust: brightness and contrast.
There are dark areas near the edges of the screen. There's a fancy function to reduce them, but it only partially attenuates them and degrades image quality. Sound only when the screen is connected via HDMI. Limited viewing angles. IPS?
In short, very average.
To go from a TV screen from the 2010s to this beauty, what can I say WAOW I'd never seen images as beautiful.
I have my own brands for each computer component and Samsung is my favourite when it comes to screens.
Never dead pixels and good reliability.

- excellent screen, easy to assemble, incredible picture quality, fluidity and response time, superb colours
- the adjustment of the pivot to the left, right, front, back, height (and you can put your screen in vertical mode) are a real plus
There are a few drawbacks, however:
- the power supply consists of 2 cables with a block connecting them... in the middle, which is going to be awkward for the management cable, not really a fault but I prefer to mention it
- only one display port cable is supplied, a miserable 1m long (not practical for me who puts my PC on the floor next to the desk) and infamously rigid (I had to buy a 3m braided one)
the worst thing now
the coil whine, as with CGs, you may or may not be lucky enough to avoid the coil whine, and I've had no luck with this screen, a permanent hissing noise from hell that drives you mad and makes you want to throw the screen against the wall (you change your mind when you remember that you paid €450 for it)
I don't want to send it back because I could receive a screen with the same or a different fault, so I'll deal with it, but bear in mind that the odyssey range seems to have this problem quite frequently, from what I've found on the net.
