After a few months' use, this card, which runs 2 screens in 4k 2k, runs smoothly on all software.
In games, it averages 100FPS on Fortnite in 2k, but not all the sliders are at maximum.
A 4080 would have been better suited to my requirements, but this card is within my means and is good enough in the end.
It's a good investment, after the rush of mining cards, I'm delighted to find a powerful card, with one of the lowest power consumption among them. With 3D Mark Demo, I'm up to 11,174 - 16,540 for the CG alone, my old i7-4790 is totally out of kilter but I can't see any lag, everything is fluid, CS GO, Warthunder Diablo IV... Very good value for money.
Used in the creation of 3D environments, it responds well to heavy rendering tasks with its 12GB vram, and at a reasonable price. In 2k games, it runs very well, but with reasonable effects.
The card is absolutely compatible with my relatively old equipment: i5 9600K processor, R. STRIX z390 motherboard, 32GB RAM. It didn't seem obvious from the articles here and there (what they wouldn't do to sell the latest processors). With Steelrising in 1080p: processor load 80% on average, full power for graphics settings including Ray Tracing: I'm at around 90 fps (on a 144 hz predator screen). So there's no bottleneck - the processor is never saturated. So for other recent games, I don't think there's any problem. I haven't even tried DLSS3 yet, which would reduce the processor load. I used to have a GTX 1660ti. In my opinion, upgrading to the RTX 4070 is very good value for money.
A little expensive, but powerful, low on power consumption and very discreet. Bought to replace a GTX 1660 Super that was starting to struggle with recent games. Ideal card for upgrading without having to change the power supply (I have a 550W Gold from LDLC). Portal RTX in full path tracing is fluid in 1080p + DLSS 3 quali.
This card allows me to maxx absolutely everything in 1080p, I think the 4070 is the best card of this generation in terms of value for money with a very low power consumption that over time saves you a lot of money at EDF, except for 4K. This card will allow me to play all the games I've maxed out for the next 4 years in 1080p, or even 2k if I decide to change screens.
As for the PNY Verto dual model, it works like a charm. The card is super silent and never exceeds 66°C at full load for several hours, bearing in mind that I have conventional cooling in my tower (3 Noctua fans).
In short, a very good model at MSRP.
Backed by a Ryzen9 5950x, this RTX4070 PNY has been fitted into a mini itx case. It's a good thing I found a relatively powerful card that doesn't exceed 2 slots and 200W of power consumption. I'm using it in 4K and most games are playable at around 60FPS. As for recent games, it was a good surprise to be able to activate ray tracing on Hogwarts Legacy. On The Last of Us, I can't set the textures to max due to VRAM limitations. This is the only reason I took off one star. With 16gb, it would have been a no-brainer. DLSS3 is nice on compatible games
