Semi-compatible with Silent Base 802.
This power supply is really well thought out, but you need to be really well informed about the product and its compatibility with your installation.
Personally, I use a Silent Base 802 case from Be Quiet, but in order to accommodate my two watercooling units, my motherboard is mounted upside down, on the left-hand side of the case.
The power supply is not symmetrical, the cable ports are on the top of the power supply, so for my use I needed to mount the power supply upside down, but the problem was that half the sockets were obstructed by the bottom of my case.
So I had no choice but to mount the power supply in the 'normal' position, thus losing the point of the 'shift', especially as the power cables for my GPU are too short to go all the way round, luckily only these cables are affected, the rest are long enough to make a clean installation.
I chose to keep the power supply because it's still my fault, I should have been more meticulous in my research. In any case, I'd like to warn you if you're planning to buy this power supply, it's really top-notch, Corsair is very generous with the number of cables supplied, the energy efficiency curve is really good (check out cybenetics if you're looking for real info/tests on power supplies) and above all the SHIFT side can be great for making an ultra-clean installation, but to do that you have to respect all the criteria imposed by this power supply.
(I'm not sure the photo is very useful, the PC is assembled and I'm sorry but I'm a bit lazy about taking everything apart to get better shots, so I'd like to thank you for your understanding :p)
