The MSP3A features a 10 cm w oofer with a "Twisted Flare Port " and a 2.2 cm tweeter. The built-in power amplifier is optimised for the speakers to provide a clear and natural reference sound. Although the built-in amplifier provides 22 watts of power, the MSP3 weighs only 3.6 kg, making it portable and easy to position.
The 'Twisted Flare Port' design is derived from our extensive experience in subwoofer development. The flared, slightly helical shape diffuses the generated air vortex around the ends of the port, creating a smooth flow of air. This reduces unwanted noise not present in the original signal and allows clear and accurate reproduction of low frequencies. From special effects to concert hall ambience, the bass is clear, tight and realistic.
Versatile controls and connections
In addition to XLR/TRS combo connectors that allow direct +4dB input from a mixing console or other professional equipment, the MSP3A featuresTRS and RCA inputs for easy connection to electronic instruments and other audio devices. Tone controls allow you to optimise the sound for your monitoring environment, effectively compensating for imbalances caused by speaker placement or room acoustics.
