Setting the standard for stabilisation, the Osmo Action 3 continues DJI's tradition of innovation and offers advanced and reliable stabilisation to ensure perfectly stable images no matter how complex the action, on land or underwater! Indeed, the sports camera comes with three features ideal for stable images: RockSteady, HorizonBalancing and HorizonSteady.

RockSteady stabilises the image overall, even in the most dynamic moments, while HorizonSteady stabilises the horizon in 4K. Finally, the last one allows to stabilise the horizon without any angle limit.

    Excellent Action Cam

    This is an excellent camera that I've been using for nearly a year. I picked it up just after the Action 4 was announced, as I didn't see too many new features.

    Doesn't overheat, very good image quality. Lots of video settings with the PRO mode for manual shooting. Mind you, a 64GB microSD is only good enough for 80 minutes of recording in 4K30 in 4:3 and less than 60 minutes for 4K120 in 16:9.

    The pluses:
    - The 3 batteries supplied recharge very quickly with the charger included.
    - Very good autonomy
    - Various attachments and accessories included in the pack
    - Video quality, recording formats and advanced settings (Pro Mode, Timelapse, Hyperlapse)
    - Very light on a harness
    - Incredible stabilisation (mountain bike)

    The disadvantages :
    - Heavy videos (requires lots of storage)
    - Correct quality of photo mode
    - Sound correct but no more than that, especially in windy conditions
    - Terrible 1080p, but like most competitors
