It's worse than I thought, my go pro shuts down because of overheating, I've trawled the forums the problem is general, with a probe the go pro is over 95 degrees in a 20 degree room after 20 min filming in 4K, without the battery it works a little better, but seeing how this camera heats up it's a shame to sell such a product, a go pro? Never again, unless I need an expensive heater.
No matter what the settings are and no matter if the camera is connected to electricity, after 1h I think maximum everything stops, with half the SD card free, impossible to film for more than an hour, what a complete rip off even my old webcam does better. Defective model?
Very good camera: the price is right and the performance is very good! I use it to film my hikes, and I like the impeccable image quality and the Russian stabilisation. I only regret 4 small details: 1) the autonomy of the battery which hardly exceeds 1h30 while filming continuously and whatever the chosen resolution; 2) the impossibility of having access to the charging port without being able at the same time to close the access flap (if one wants to compensate for the weakness of the internal battery by connecting the camera to an external battery), which can cause the internal battery to fall when the body moves a little abruptly; 3) the interface of this GoPro is a bit messy, I got; 4) the camera, which has just been turned off, often turns back on by itself: It's a bit annoying when you have to save your battery... But these little flaws do not detract from the overall quality of the product.
Excellent camera with a superb video quality, a downside: the battery life, otherwise for novice is that if you never had a GoPro is a little complicated to understand its operation, but there are good tuto on YouTube and also think of downloading the manual missing ? on the internet to finally understand all the features. When the GO Pro application via the smartphone it does not work, it finds videos made by my smartphone but not those made by the GoPro, a shame! So no need to ruin yourself with a cloud subscription, better to manage it yourself.
