The NT1's silky highs, detailed mids and warm bass make it ideal for recording a wide range of instruments and voices, from drums and percussion to acoustic instruments and guitar monitors. The microphone capsule is mounted on a shock mount to minimise external vibration, and the body is machined from high-grade aluminium with nickel plating and a military-grade ceramic coating, ensuring that it is ready to handle the rigours of recording day after day.
Extremely quiet for superior sound
The NT1 is one of the quietest studio microphones in the world, with a background noise level of only 4.5 dB(A). This ensures that every recording is exceptionally clean, even when capturing soft sound sources.
The NT1 comes with the SM6, a high-quality shock mount that provides isolation from external physical factors that can cause unwanted rumble and vibration in the microphone. It includes a detachable pop filter with two axis of adjustment and a telescopic arm for perfect versatility of use. A high quality XLR cable is also included.
