Versatile recording capability
Blue Microphones Yeti Pro features four different setting modes for versatile recording capability:
- Stereo Mode: Stereo mode uses both the right and left channel, and is ideal for capturing a realistic, all-encompassing sound image.
- Cardioid mode: Suitable for podcasts, singing, and other vocals, cardioid mode records sound sources emitted directly in front of the microphone. It produces a rich, dense sound.
- Omnidirectional mode: Omnidirectional mode captures sound from all directions equally. It is recommended for situations where you want to capture the general atmosphere - such as recording a live band.
- Bi-directional mode: Bi-directional mode records from both the front and back of the microphone. It is ideal for capturing the nuances of a musical instrument or recording a conversation between two people.
