Very good card, a little imposing in the case and heavy. But runs 4K games very well without RT.
Depending on the game, between 80 and 140 FPS stable.
This card is exactly what I was looking for, allowing me to play games with all the settings cranked up on my large iiyama 34" 21:9 screen in native resolution (3440x1440).
I previously had a graphics card limited to 'only' 8G of VRAM, which was the main sticking point but probably not the only one.
Here, with 24G of VRAM and 6000 proc of flux, everything runs smoothly.
The card doesn't heat up any more than the one I had before, even though it's more powerful, so it should perform well over time.
I've checked my power consumption with the Linky meter, and it's still consuming quite a lot (around 300W I'd say, maybe a bit less).
the assembly was meticulous and on time. the inside of the tower was well protected with padding against possible shocks during delivery by the carrier. I would recommend the people who dealt with my order, they did a great job.
The ASUS RX 7900 XTX OC is built from the highest quality materials, with the entire graphics card encased in a thick layer of aluminium.
The cooling is capable of delivering almost 600W, which is more than enough for the 380W consumed by this card.
So you won't have to worry about cooling and you'll have a very high overclocking potential.
The only negative point is that it will struggle to fit into any case, as I own a Pure Base 500DX from be quiet and it just barely fits in.
All in all, it's a very good product that will allow you to run all ultra games in 4K 60pfs and more!
Defective product or hardware and software not up to scratch? Since purchase in March 2023, driver crashes have occurred. A reinstallation of Windows11 is too frequent, I do not recommend AMD. A lot of people on the forums are having problems with the 7900 XT/XTX series, perhaps the first models had major problems, without any communication on their part? The card is in SAV, I don't know what to think of this product ....
Ray Tracing below that of a 4070, that's saying something... At this price, you might as well go for a 4080 for 300€ more ;)
