Good card but with a few shortcomings
Good card from ASUS. I use it for office work (software development).
Coupled with
- CPU AMD Ryzen 7 7700 ;
- 64 GB Corsair RAM clocked at maximum processor speed;
- 1 TB M2 SSD 990 PRO from Samsungs;
It's fast and that's all I ask of it :]
On the other hand, there are a few drawbacks:
- Windows 11 was reinstalled in March 2025 and the network card is still not taken into account by default (need to supply drivers when installing) ;
- The SSD overheated and I had to replace it (marked as faulty and causing a crash): the cause? I screwed the radiator supplied with the motherboard in too tightly and this caused the SSD to make poor contact with the radiator paste. The system is a bit lame and I decided to replace it with the same SSD but with its own radiator. And there's a little problem with the fixing, it's not really designed for it :/
