I bought the Gigabyte B650 AORUS Elite AX motherboard with a Rysen 7 7700X processor, a Noctua NH-U12S heatsink, a Crucial DDR5 32GB memory (2 x 16GB) and a Crucial P5 Plus 500GB M.2 SSD, to upgrade a PC to Windows 11. This motherboard requires a 12V 8 PIN + 4 PIN CPU power supply, I opted for a Corsair RM650 80 Plus Gold (2021). For the rest, ATX compatibility with my 2015 Corsair Carbide 300R case was not a problem. The small Front Panel Header cable attachment supplied with the motherboard is handy (the triangle of the connectors matches the +). Hardware boot up without problems.
The installation of Win 11 went smoothly with the standard BIOS configuration, the new UEFI and TPM features required by Win 11 are enabled by default.
