Easier maintenance, less downtime
Two software images and two configuration files allow the D-Link DGS-1250-28XMP/E switch to quickly switch between firmware versions and configurations to minimize downtime. STP, RSTP and MSTP support provides redundant links, prevents network loops, increases network reliability and minimizes downtime for mission-critical applications. These switches can withstand temperatures from -5 to 50°C.
10G Connections
This switch has four 10G SFP+ ports, allowing you to choose the media type that best suits your needs and minimises network bottlenecks. Flexible uplink connections at both 1G/10G speeds are ideal for data-intensive tasks.
Optimised for video surveillance
D-Link's unique Surveillance Mode features a web-based user interface designed for video surveillance, providing a snapshot of your topology, easy access to features, and simplified management of your surveillance network.
Layer 3 Lite
IP interfaces, IPv6 Neighbourhood Detection (ND), ARP spoofing, IGMP and MLD traffic monitoring, LLDP and LLDP-MED. The DGS-1250 Series includes IPv4/IPv6 static routing capabilities to create a scalable and more efficient network.
Quality of Service (QoS)
802.1 Quality of Service (QoS) support allows data to be transmitted to devices based on priority and traffic type, and bandwidth control helps reduce unwanted network traffic. In addition, Auto-Voice and VLAN Self-Monitoring features automatically identify and prioritise voice and video traffic.
Security down to the port level.
D-Link's Safeguard Engine prevents malicious traffic overload caused by attacks. The series supports IMP association, a simple method of controlling nodes during IP contention and auditing that prevents "ARP spoofing" and malicious man-in-the-middle attacks.
Network security is enhanced by ARP inspection, DHCP traffic monitoring, and a host of security and authentication features such as 802.1X port access authentication, port security for 64 MAC addresses per port. The series also includes network protection features such as access control list and DHCP server lookup that only allows legitimate DHCP server IP addresses on specific ports.
