Linksys Velop MX8400 : Wi-Fi 6 (AX) Multiroom Mesh triple band system
Linksys Velop is a triple-band Wi-Fi system for creating a mesh network. Unlike traditional routers with signal amplifiers, the Velop triple-band Wi-Fi system provides a 100% Wi-Fi connection throughout the house. This means you can start a video conference or watch a streaming movie without any connection slowdown throughout your home, even if you are in the most remote corner of your garden. Each hotspot improves the range of your Wi-Fi wireless signal. You can add as many as you need to increase the number of nodes on your mesh network.
Extended range and heavy-duty Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi 6 technology offers Gigabit connection speeds (up to 5.3 Gbps and 12-stream connectivity) in every corner of your home. Next-generation OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) increases connection performance even under heavy use with high-speed Wi-Fi speeds and multiple devices simultaneously.
Velop's Intelligent Mesh technology, combined with Wi-Fi 6, delivers Gigabit Wi-Fi speeds to all corners of your home, including your outdoor space.
Remote control and configuration
With the Linksys App, you can remotely control your Wi-Fi network using a smartphone or tablet.
- Parental controls: secure internet access for your children, especially when you're away from home or travelling. Prevent them from being distracted by the Internet while doing homework, during dinner, or when you are with your family. Control the use of the wireless network; restrict access to certain websites and block access to the Internet from certain devices.
- Guest access: create a separate Wi-Fi network, protected by an easy-to-share password (via text message), accessible to up to 50 guests.
- Device prioritisation: you can prioritise access to the Wi-Fi network for certain devices so that they get faster bandwidth.
