A number of features are available and can be configured, including VLANs and the WDS (Wireless Distribution System).
I bought 2 wax206s: one as a WDS Access Point and the other as a WDS client.
I didn't test the Netgear interface: I installed Openwrt and its Luci web interface.
Excellent product but complicated to program due to very poor instructions.
I've been using it for a while now and it's not that bad.
Looking for a wifi 6 router with a 2.5Gb WAN port, that can be positioned in a patch bay/communication cabinet, without looking like a weird insect full of antennas :)
The speeds are good, Ethernet, Wifi (2.4 and 5 ghz).
I'm not sure if it's a "Professional" version or not, but it's not very functional, and it's not very easy to manage... Not even an integrated DNS server (like on a Synology), primitive firewall, etc...
Given the price, it does the trick while waiting for better.
When will we see a full 2.5 Gb wifi router or more?
The WIFI terminal works perfectly. I like the many advanced settings, including the VLAN. It's just a pity that the settings for disabling WIFI at certain times are not more flexible. Uplink connectivity in 2.5GBASE-T without worries.
super wifi 6 it's a great internet access point from Netgear it's a great product and not expensive for Netgear
